Dr Gillian Squirrell, BA, MA, MBA, MSc, MS, PhD, FRSA, CPCC, ACC

Dr Gillian Squirrel has worked for over 20 years as a senior manager, researcher, evaluator and lecturer, in non-profits, research institutes and universities.  She has worked as a consultant with central and local government agencies, private service providers and corporations, public sector agencies and non-profits. She has founded two non-profits and small businesses in the UK and US. She brings a powerful portfolio of expertise and an extensive range of knowledge and skills.

Gillian is trained and certified as a Co-active Coach (Coaches Training Institute, CA, USA) and is a credentialed member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).  She has completed both traditional management leadership programs (MBA Public Sector Management, University of Birmingham, UK ) and relational based leadership training (CTI, US).  She is a professional and committed coach undertaking on-going professional development.  A certified Bigger Game Trainer and Tiny Habits Coach, she has trained with strengths based coaching and using positive psychology in coaching (University of San Francisco). She a trained and credentialed equine experiential learning coach (E3A and PATH International) and has written and presented extensively on animal supported coaching. 

Gillian has run a number of Action Learning based programs across UK Universities for science and health based academics and clinicians wanting to engage with communities about their work. She has run pro bono coaching programs for marginalized and vulnerable adults in her community. She has trained leaders in the prison services in the UK, non-profits in the US and worked extensively on developing reflective practitioners in education and training.
